Candidate Spotlight 2026

This countdown reflects the time remaining until Election Day. Local elections determine who will serve in key roles across the community. Voters may wish to use this time to gather information, ask questions, and evaluate candidates based on their experience, positions, and approach to public service.

Below is a collection of candidate submissions provided in response to an open invitation from SPA to share information with the community. These profiles are presented for informational purposes to support voters in making informed decisions. Please note the deadline for primary election submissions closed in April.

TeamSPA has created a dedicated platform for local candidates seeking office in 2026. Our goal is to give the community direct access to candidates' perspectives. We want to know who they are, what they stand for, and how they plan to serve their constituents. Through interviews and submitted responses, we will share their voices in a fair and transparent way so voters can make informed decisions.

If you are a candidate interested in being featured, please reach out to us at:

YOUR Voice Matters!

Your voice is powerful, and it deserves to be heard! We are opening up a space for residents to share short articles, opinions, and stories about issues affecting our community that often go unnoticed in mainstream media. Whether it is a concern about a public policy, a spotlight on a local challenge, or an insight into daily life in our town, we want to hear from you.

Submissions should be 500 words or fewer, fact-based, and include sources for any claims or data. We ask contributors to focus on public institutions and officials or community-wide concerns or topics that can be openly discussed without fear of reprisal. We will not share your name unless you state otherwise.

Not sure if your story fits? Send us an email anyway, we are happy to talk it through.

Please note: Our editorial team will consider all submissions, and those that align with our community standards and mission will be posted. For your protection, and ours, please do not send any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in your email—just your contribution.
