Mission Statement

We are an informal community-led group that advocates for transparency, truth, and honesty in governance. The site was created to provide Somerset and Pulaski Countians a space to address issues, ask questions, and share information without fear of retribution. The Somerset-Pulaski Advocate is not a political entity and does not endorse any political candidate or push political agendas. We believe the community should have a voice to make change happen and we are stronger together. 

The purpose of this space is to share information about issues raised by our members regarding Somerset-Pulaski County, Kentucky, the Lake Cumberland region, and our nation for public education, information and commentary purposes. Our goal is to find and share the truth behind questions and issues brought to us through community sources. We encourage our members to form their own opinions and take an active role in searching for information for themselves or to share with the group.
