“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36 KJV)

Somerset, Kentucky (SPA)---- The world told me I was a loser and that I wasn’t where I should be. The world kept me wanting more. The world made me feel as if I had no purpose. The world and living for it kept me wondering in the wilderness. I didn’t know who I was and where I was going, but the cross! Jesus showed me the truth. Jesus healed what I didn’t know needed to be healed. Jesus broke those chains and set me free! Today I stand knowing who I am in Christ. I’m a sinner who surrendered it all to Jesus!
The world lied to me and left me wondering within myself and Satan told me I couldn’t be used, but Jesus simply says “come”. Just as he did to Peter, inviting him to step out of the boat and to walk on water. Jesus is still inviting us today and inviting us into surrender, confession, and repentance, both as a believer and a non-believer. However, the invitation is here for salvation. Jesus will save you and change you from the inside out. He breaks chains, renews, and will provide you with a divine deliverance! He will give you the freedom you never knew existed and give you the desires of your heart.
Hebrews 3:7-8 says “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:” (KJV). John 3:17 reminds us that God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. There is FREEDOM in Jesus! There is purpose and there is life in Jesus. I didn’t start living until I started living for Jesus!! Today I want to ask you if you will make the choice to start living for Jesus rather than for the world and to self?
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
A Prayer to accept Jesus
Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to save me from my sin and death, to restore me to the Father. I believe that you raised 3 days later from the grave, and I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I repent of my sins and all wrongdoing and ask for your forgiveness Father. I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I invite you into my heart and please fill me with the Holy Spirit. Transform me Jesus. I give it all to you. Thank you, God, for this gift.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen
